RSA, NIG & FarmWeb to rebrand as Intact Insurance

Our legal entity in the UK remains unchanged. All existing agreements and legal terms remain unaffected by the change of brand. Specific information relating to TOBA’s and policy commission will follow as part of communications for our One Commercial programme.

With the integration of NIG and FarmWeb into RSA, the focus has been on simplifying our product set, streamlining legacy processes, and enhancing our digital capabilities to deliver a faster, more efficient service. As we moved towards our future state of One Commercial, we will ultimately operate under a single brand, Intact Insurance. 

There are no immediate changes to RSA Online or any of the software houses we trade on. Once we transition to Intact Insurance later this year, you will start to see the new branding on our trading platforms. We continue to invest in our technology to enhance service delivery through our One Commercial programme and are currently planning how and when these updates will be implemented, and we will keep you informed if there are any impacts to your business.

When we brought RSA, NIG and FarmWeb together in 2024, we said we would move to one brand in the UK. As part of Intact, we operate in an increasingly interconnected world and having a brand that unites our businesses globally will help in our ambition to outperform the market, become the best Commercial insurer and to grow our Specialty Lines business in the UK by leveraging Intact’s global footprint.

There are no planned changes to your key relationships as part of the change of brand to Intact Insurance.  

We plan to rebrand before the end of this year and will continue to share updates on what this means for you. Please bookmark these FAQ’s as we will update these regularly, we will also share details with you in due course as we look to bring the Intact Insurance brand to market. 

We are already well advanced in our plans to unify our office locations as part of the integration. There are no plans for any changes to locations because of the rebrand, but of course our offices will start to look and feel a bit different as we transition to the Intact Insurance brand later in 2025.

Financial ratings are set by legal entity. As our legal entity is not changing our existing financial ratings are not impacted. For clarity they currently are:

Yes, ultimately our brands will change to Intact Insurance. We are working through how and when to implement these changes across our own and third-party platforms. We will be in touch with you if there are any impacts to documents that you need to issue. 

We have announced our intent to complete the rebrand throughout 2025. There may be some elements that take slightly longer but we will communicate anything important to you in advance.
