Flexible insurance for pubs, restaurants and hotels
Our packaged cover is tailored for small hotels with up to 20 rooms, and restaurants, cafes, pubs and bars with up to 4 premises.
For larger and more complex hospitality risks, our Business Combined cover my be more suitable for your insurance needs.
What's included in our hospitality cover?
- Contents, stock, public and products liability, and employers’ liability
- Hotel cover is available for guests’ personal effects (£2,500 per guest)
- 50% seasonal stock increase during November, December and 30 days prior to Easter
- All risks goods in transit cover of £2,500 (option to extend to £10,000)
- £1,000 cover for damage to frozen and chilled food (option to extend to £10,000 per unit)
- Public and products liability £2 million limit of indemnity (option to reduce or increase)
- Money package defaults to £3,500
- Loss of liquor licence (£100,000 as standard with potential to increase as required)
- Business interruption up to £3 million gross revenue

- Buildings cover or tenant improvements

- Proprietor personal effects (for hotel product only)

This product is designed to meet the needs of:
- Public houses
- Restaurants, cafes, tea rooms and coffee shops
- Small, unlicensed hotels, guest houses and bed and breakfasts
- Takeaway food providers, including fish and chip shops
Positive risk features
- 2 or fewer property claims in the last 5 years
- No more than 1 liability claim in the last 5 years
- No history of flood or subsidence losses
- Standard construction
- Property exposures below £3.5 million
- Turnover below £1.5 million
