This year's Airmic conference in Liverpool, themed 'Another World is Possible' proved to be a great opportunity to build on our success at BIBA. Over the three days, we spent valuable time with customers, sharing our strategy, highlighting our progress and listening to what they had to say. We were able to share more about the story of our transition to becoming Intact Insurance by the end of 2025.

What were the key focuses for this year's conference?
This year, we headed into Airmic with a clear and bold message: Stronger Today, Ready for Tomorrow. We featured a strong line-up of key speakers and attendance of our leadership team. They were on hand to answer our customer's questions, and share their ideas about the latest trends and challenges in risk management. They also focused on how we’re helping brokers and businesses build resilience in an uncertain world.
On the stage at Airmic
At the conference, we showcased our expertise by taking to the stage with events designed to spotlight our strategy, and the value we deliver across Underwriting, Risk Consulting, Global Network, Claims and Customer innovation. The events included:
A thought-provoking keynote speech from Intact CEO, Charles Brindamour, with a focus on geo-politics and climate, as well as a zoom in on technology including AI and Cyber.
A Hub session with Nadia Côté, CEO of RSA Europe, Jonathan Cope, RSA’s Managing Director of UK Specialty Lines, and Calvin Gray, RSA’s President of Global Marine who discussed RSA’s upcoming rebrand to Intact Insurance, and how our global footprint is driving innovation in Specialty Lines.
A panel discussion with Andy Jones, RSA’s Director of Risk Consulting, who shared the stage with other risk managers and examined the ever-evolving global risk landscape. Highlighting the skills, tools, and mindsets required for tomorrow's risk leaders to thrive now and in the future.
A seminar where Michael Gregory, RSA’s Underwriting Strategy Director, explored the lingering effects of the pandemic on the global economy and what economic factors will make the greatest difference to enhancing the competitiveness, especially in the UK market.
Jonathan Cope also took to the big screen in a live interview with Airmic TV. Jon discussed the important role the specialty insurance markets plays in supporting clients through today’s complex and evolving risk landscape. He also talked about the art of balancing underwriting risk whilst continuing to deliver a responsive and tailored approached, and the value of the conference and the opportunities it unlocks.
