Offices FAQs
We've answered some of the questions we often get asked by brokers about our Offices product.
All manual work away other than loading, unloading, collection or delivery, is excluded.
Administrative type work away from the main premises is acceptable, for example:
- Surveyors will spend time away from the premises evaluating other premises. However, we do not consider that they will be involved with any manual work
- Solicitor attending a clients premises or court proceedings
- Doctor undertaking home visits or working as a locum at another surgery
Homeworkers are eligible for our Offices product.
Computer equipment and ancillary equipment is covered anywhere in the world, unless otherwise stated in the schedule (subject to any specific exclusions).

Work experience staff are included within our definition of ‘Person Employed’ and will be covered by the policy.
