Empowering and inspiring young black women is something I'm truly passionate about. Whilst filming, I had the opportunity to revisit my career journey, from studying journalism and media in university to evolving into a cyber security manager over the course of about a decade - something I would have never thought was on my lifetime bingo card! But that’s the beauty of life. We discuss the obstacles I’ve encountered, address unconscious biases, and I offer my suggestions for my white colleagues and advice to fellow black women wanting to pursue a career in insurance or cyber security.
